The PetsApp pack loves veterinary receptionists. In fact, we're kind of obsessed with finding ways to make your lives easier and your role more rewarding.
From asynchronous text chat saving you from the tyranny of the telephone and rescuing the veterinary lunchtime, to digital payments helping to eliminate those infamous waiting room bottlenecks!
Perhaps it's the fact that both PetsApp founder, Thom Jenkins, and Customer Success Manager, Ricky Sussams, have spent time working on the veterinary reception that embues so much empathy for this role. The highs and the lows. The urinary accidents and the basketful of puppies! The cheers, the tears and the chocolates.
So, when the British Veterinary Receptionist Association asked if we would show our support, we jumped at the chance and became a sponsor! Then they said they were launching their Gold Level Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award, and we just knew we had to get involved there too.
The Gold Award builds on the learnings from the Silver and Bronze levels, and helps ensure veterinary receptionists are empowered to cope and adapt even when things don't go to plan.
With a little help from PetsApp's very own Ricky Sussams, who has over ten years of veterinary IT experience, the award also covers how an app can set veterinary receptionists up for success by reducing reception bottlenecks and improving client communications!
